Rreimagines a mass timber innovation center as a living ecosystem where architecture, landscape, and education converge. Inspired by the spatial qualities of Stanley Park, the proposal organizes research, fabrication, exhibition, and public gathering around a central courtyard that echoes a forest clearing. An exposed glulam structural system transforms the building into a teaching tool, celebrating timber craftsmanship, prefabrication, and adaptability. Integrated passive environmental strategies, native landscapes, and seamless trail connections create a low-carbon civic destination where innovation is experienced through making, learning, and engagement with nature.
